An impressive cold water anomaly in the North Atlantic called “The Cold Blob” is something likely caused by the weakening AMOC. This cold water anomy affecting sea and air temperatures in this crucial area of the Earth, is now slowing down glaciers of parts of Greenland, Iceland and Norway from melting, new evidence has shown.
